1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and the name you provide. We also store the content you write: your personal prayers, praise notes, prayer schedule, and any preferences you set (such as your waking hours).

2. Private by default

Your prayers, journal entries, schedule, and personal notes are private to your account. Nothing you write is visible to other users unless you explicitly choose to share it.

3. When content becomes public

You may opt in to public sharing in two ways:

• Pray Together: submitting a prayer to the shared global prayer queue.
• Public praise: marking an answered prayer as public praise so it can encourage the community.

Even then, your name is not displayed with shared prayers unless you include it in the text itself.

4. Who can see your email address

Your email address is never shown publicly. It is visible only to platform administrators and moderators for account support, safety, and moderation purposes. Moderators use it sparingly — for example, to send a warning or notice about a guideline violation.

5. Moderation and safety

We scan public and reported content for profanity, hate speech, harassment, and other guideline violations. Content that violates the community guidelines may be hidden, removed, or escalated to a moderator. Repeated violations can result in warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage and cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are first-party only and are not used to track you across other sites.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data and prayer content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your own prayers and notes at any time. If you delete your account, we will remove your profile and personal content from active systems within a reasonable period.

8. Acceptable use

Prayer & Praise is a Christian prayer platform. You agree to use it with reverence and respect. Do not post profanity, hate speech, threats, harassment, explicit content, or anything intended to demean others. You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the platform grows. Continued use of Prayer & Praise after changes means you accept the updated terms.
